BCCPAC Representative Appointed to BC Teachers Council
The BCCPAC Board of Directors extends a heart-felt congratulations to BCCPAC Life Member Catherine (Cathy) Abraham on her recent appointment as the BCCPAC representative to the newly formed BC Teachers Council (BCTC). As stated in Cathy’s Life Member Award Bio, “She {Cathy} is a tireless worker, a strong and intelligent voice, an eloquent writer, and she regularly contributes all of these towards the betterment of students and parents.”
In addition to serving on the BCTC, Cathy will also be a member of the Disciplinary and Profession Conduct Board whose purpose is to provide the BCTC Commissioner with a pool of council members who can serve on hearing panels.
The BCCPAC Board of Directors is confident Cathy will represent the parent voice with integrity and passion during her time on the BCTC.
