AP Awards and Scholarships

AP SCHOLAR AWARDS

The Advanced Placement Program gives special recognition to students who excel on the AP Exams. Students are given various titles depending on their results and the number of exams they write. Here is the list of Award Winners and the requirements to obtain the title are listed at the bottom.

AP National Scholar
* granted to students in Canada who receive an average grade of at least 4 on all AP Exams taken, AND…
* grades of 4 or higher on five or more AP Exams.

AP Scholar with Distinction
* granted to students who receive an average grade of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, AND…
* grades of 3 or higher on five or more AP exams

AP Scholar with Honours
* granted to students who receive an average grade of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, AND…
* grades of 3 or higher on four or more AP exams

AP Scholar
* granted to students who receive grades of 3 or higher
* need to write three or more AP Exams
