School Plan

Mission Statement:
Burnaby South Secondary School and the BC Provincial School for the Deaf is a multicultural community of learners striving to discover knowledge and to develop mutual respect, individual potential and collaborative teamwork. We value our intellectual, cultural and social diversity and encourage students, with parent and staff support, to learn using all the means and opportunities available to them.

Literacy - To improve students' reading comprehension
Social Responsibility - To enhance social responsibility in the school and the community (emerging goal)
